Alison Pierz

Meet the Designer

Alison Pierz is an artist and designer based in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of New York.  She specializes in recuperating and transforming forgotten and overlooked iconography, embracing a wide range of images from colonial gravestones to barbed wire.  Through Alison Pierz Design, she has recently started producing a line of edgy, playful, silk-screened garments using environmentally friendly materials. She is a graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and also worked for many years as a mural painter and decorative finisher.
